Improving Our Signwork

About Me

Improving Our Signwork

After suffering from quarter after quarter with lagging sales, I realized that I needed to do a better job of improving our customer attraction and retention. I started thinking about how a customer might find our business, and it occurred to me that we needed to go through and improve our sign work. We were able to find a great business in the area that offered a huge number of available signs, and they were really amazing to work with. They recreated all of the signs that we needed for our business, and it was incredible to see just how much more business we were able to enjoy in a short timeframe.

Designing Real Estate Signs? How To Make Sure Yours Stand Out!

Signs are important for real estate agents. They let people know when a house is for sale and they direct people towards open houses. But as people see signs over and over, they become immune to the messages and the signs begin to blend into the environment, rather than being something catches the eye of passersby. If you are looking to design real estate signs for your real estate business, you may find yourself wondering what you can do to help make sure yours stand out. Here are a few ideas.

Use a Readable, Bold Font

When you are designing a real estate sign, it is easy to get caught up in fancy fonts that look whimsical or fun. However, you need to make sure that people driving by can clearly see the words and phone numbers that may be on your sign. As such, make sure you select a font that is fairly simple so it can easily be read. Try to make it bold so it is easier for those driving by to see and read.

Select a Color that is Different From Other Realtors in the Area

Another tip for designing a real estate sign is to select a color that is different from other real estate agents in your area. Most real estate agents use one sign color for all of their signs. As such, if your competitor uses green signs, you may want to avoid green signs. People may immediately see the green sign and think of your competitor and not read your sign. Pick a sign color that no one else is using to differentiate your signs for others.

Include Your Real Estate Logo

Lastly, if you have a real estate logo, be sure to include that on your sign. A picture is worth a thousand words and people may be able to identify your real estate company based on the logo alone. If you have brand recognition and a recognizable logo, always include your logo somewhere on your real estate signage.

Using a readable, bold font, selecting a sign color that is different other realtors in the area and including your real estate logo on the sign are just a few of the things that you can do to help your real estate signs stand out. If you are in need of new real estate signs, contact a real estate sign professional. They can help you put together a design that stands out and produce the signs so you can begin to use and place them.
