Improving Our Signwork

About Me

Improving Our Signwork

After suffering from quarter after quarter with lagging sales, I realized that I needed to do a better job of improving our customer attraction and retention. I started thinking about how a customer might find our business, and it occurred to me that we needed to go through and improve our sign work. We were able to find a great business in the area that offered a huge number of available signs, and they were really amazing to work with. They recreated all of the signs that we needed for our business, and it was incredible to see just how much more business we were able to enjoy in a short timeframe.

Sign Design Tips For Your Commercial Real Estate Open House

In real estate, the open house is one of the most important parts of the selling process. Images online and brochures are great for giving potential buyers a basic idea about a building, however, there isn't anything quite like the experience of actually touring the building and getting to see what it has to offer with your own eyes. If you're planning an open house for your commercial real estate property, learn some of the sign design tips you can apply to attract more people to your event.

Reflect the Property

Remember that everything you do is all about selling the property. As a result, everything you do should have the property in mind. When designing the sign for the open house, make sure the overall look of the sign reflects the property.

Consider a storefront property lined with glass walls, metal appointments, and other architectural elements, for example. The sign used to advertise the open house should be just as modern in terms of its color scheme and font styles.

Frame the Sign

So often, people rely on standard posts or stakes to put their real estate signs in the ground. However, while they are convenient, these two methods aren't your only options. You can set your sign apart and give it an attractive look with a frame design.

Sign frames are generally made from a metal or durable plastic and include a wire-like design that frames the sign to give it an added pop of style. For the best result, have the frame designed in a color that coordinates with the color scheme of the sign.

Be Specific

For the open house, you don't just want to attract people that already know the property is on the market. You also want to attract people who have no idea about its location. In order to do that, you need to be as specific as possible with your signage.

For example, don't just put up a sign that says "Open House." You should also include time-specific information, such as "today from 1-5." The more information you can provide, the better. However, make sure you don't add so much information that the sign is hard to read.

The more you put into making the open house sign a hit, the better the event will take off. Contact a design company website like http://www.genesis-signs.com/, can help you with all your real estate design needs.
